I'm Back & Blogging Amidst Covid-19!

With the recent events that are happening in the world today *cough cough* Corona Virus... I decided to get back into blogging. Many people are home, unable to work or go to school. If you're like my siblings, you are already bored to death (& we even just got Disney+).

The internet is really the only place where we can all connect while still being isolated. I have seen many things over the last week that has brought people together during this time of uncertainty.

For example, yesterday someone posted on a neighborhood Facebook page to put a Shamrock in your window so kids can go outside, find them, and do something fun for St. Patricks day without being around people. Many people in our neighborhood did that. Its pretty cool to see how people can come together to help each other and bring positivity to others.

I have seen others make art tutorial videos to help those who are home and bored, teachers offer free resources to help other teachers or families who now have the responsibility to teach their kids. Celebrities are even trying to help others. Josh Gadd went online and with his great voice acting skills, read books to kids. Niall Horan, one of my favorite singers, went live on Instagram and played a bunch of his songs off of his recently released album and did a Q&A.

People are going out of their way to help others. This may be because they themselves are at home, isolated and don't know what to do, but I believe that they really want to bring some positivity and light to others!

What is something that you could do this week to brighten someone else's day? We all should still be cautious and follow the social isolation guidelines, but when we have the internet, there is so much we can do!

Here are some quick and easy ideas!

-Share positive quotes

-Share funny videos

-Share a talent of yours or your family's online

-Connect and chat with someone who you normally wouldn't otherwise

-Write a story or poem and share

-See what others are in need of and help out

-Teach others something

I am going to try to post more blogs so anyone who is bored at home can have something to read. One day I might share my favorite quotes, who knows!

There are so many things that we can all do! Comment below what you have done or are going to do to brighten someones day this week!
